Setting a New Standard for Learners
For years, AP courses have represented academic rigor in high school. However, in today’s competitive college admissions landscape, students seek ways to stand out. At Legend College Preparatory (LCP), we recognize that some students want to go beyond traditional AP courses.
Post-AP Courses: A Clear Advantage
LCP’s post-AP courses help students demonstrate their passion and drive. These courses dive deeper into advanced topics, offering challenges beyond the AP curriculum. By enrolling, students send a message to college admissions officers: they aim to exceed expectations.
Building Engagement and Success
Admissions officers value students who engage deeply with their subjects. Post-AP courses show a commitment to academic growth and long-term success. According to the National Association for College Admission Counseling, students pursuing advanced coursework beyond AP are 30% more likely to gain admission to selective colleges.
For example, a student who completes AP Calculus BC and then takes a post-AP multivariable calculus course stands out. This signals readiness for college-level math and a commitment to pursuing engineering or mathematics.
Flexible Enrollment with Dual Enrollment
LCP supports academic exploration through our dual enrollment program. Students at all levels can enroll in post-AP courses, provided they meet prerequisites. This flexibility allows students to dive into their passions early, not just in their senior year.
Whether they choose Advanced Computer Science, Linear Algebra, or Quantum Physics, LCP’s post-AP offerings provide a rigorous academic experience. Students also earn college credits, strengthening their college applications.
Your Path to College Success
At LCP, we believe your academic journey should reflect your dedication and passion. By enrolling in our post-AP courses, you show admissions officers you’re ready for the challenges of college.
