Course Planning Tips for Social Science and English

How does an advanced Social Science class help a STEM student to build a strong profile?
Social Sciences and Humanities are the subject areas most STEM-minded students will neglect. STEM contents and applications are closely tied to everyday life and the humanities. AP Human Geography is a course favored by many students who are strong in STEM subjects. The course places STEM in contexts within the study of human behaviors and world phenomena. It also teaches students how data is used and analyzed. A lot of students take it as the first course in AP to learn advanced academic skills. Most find it helpful in subsequent successes in other AP courses.
Which are suitable English classes for advanced middle school students?
Middle school students may pick from Pre-AP English 1 or 2 depending on their current English level. Book a free consult if you don’t know which one to start with. Both courses render high school credits while preparing your language arts skills to vertically align with AP English.
Which class prepares advanced writing and presentation skills?
Writing skills are crucial to success in all academic subjects. “Critical reading, Persuasion, and Presentation” is an ideal summer course to build your writing and presentation skills.
