Students enroll with Legend College Preparatory to advance in a subject, fulfill a prerequisite, add rigor to their academic program, recover credit, or study a course not available at their primary school. Courses may be taken individually through part-time or dual enrollment.
College Preparatory
Build essential knowledge and progress through a college-preparatory sequence with accredited coursework and transcript credit.
Honors & AP
Demonstrate readiness for greater depth and rigor. Placement considers prerequisites, workload, and the student’s long-term academic plan.
Advanced & Post-AP
Continue beyond the standard high-school sequence through advanced mathematics, technology, AI, and interdisciplinary study.

Choose the right level of live support
Each format uses LCP’s online curriculum and academic oversight. The main differences are the amount of scheduled live instruction and how independently the student is expected to prepare.
Independent Asynchronous
Maximum scheduling flexibility for students who are ready to work independently in Canvas with teacher grading and course support.
Teacher-Guided Asynchronous
Asynchronous study supplemented by scheduled live sessions for guidance, clarification, and progress support.
Mini-One-on-One
The student pre-studies and attempts assignments before meeting privately with the teacher to focus on challenging topics and missed work.
One-on-One
The most comprehensive live-instruction option, with a private teacher covering the curriculum according to the student’s schedule and learning needs.
Notable dates and Dynamic Scheduling
LCP’s Dynamic Scheduling System gives students flexibility to personalize their course timeline within an established academic term. Instead of requiring every student to begin on a single fixed date, LCP works with the family to establish an appropriate start date, target completion date, pacing plan, and—when the selected format includes live instruction—a meeting schedule based on the student’s academic needs and availability.

Coursework completion deadline:
May 21, 2027
All Fall–Spring coursework must be completed by May 21 to allow time for final grade submission and recording.
2027 Summer Term
Term: June 1–August 31, 2027
Coursework completion deadline:
August 20, 2027
All Summer coursework must be completed by August 20 to allow time for final grade submission and recording.
How scheduling works
Each student follows an approved course window and pacing plan. Flexible pacing may accommodate school demands, extracurricular activities, travel, and family commitments, while preserving sufficient time to complete all required assignments and assessments.
Course planning matters
The strongest choice is not always the course with the most advanced title. LCP considers academic readiness, the student’s current workload, intended college majors, available study time, and a sustainable level of rigor.

Important enrollment information
- Course and delivery-format availability are subject to teacher scheduling and enrollment capacity.
- Some courses require transcript review, prerequisite verification, or a readiness assessment.
- AP course enrollment and AP exam registration are separate. Enrolling in an AP course does not reserve an AP exam seat.
- Course start and completion dates may be customized when academic requirements and teacher availability allow.
- Credit and a final grade are awarded only after the student fulfills the course completion requirements.
- Families should confirm credit-transfer procedures with the student’s primary school when outside credit is intended to meet that school’s graduation requirements.
